Biography:
Dr. Councill is a native of Western North Carolina. There is a reason we call the sky Carolina Blue, and he is no stranger to the why. Dr. Councill attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a thirst for knowledge that he still has to this day. After graduation, Dr. Councill worked in the Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology where he gained a greater understanding of science that eventually lead to the pursuit of a career in dentistry. Dr. Councill moved to Nashville, TN in his pursuit for his dental education. There he obtained his Dental Degree as well as courted and married his lovely wife Tiffany. He and his wife Tiffany returned to Western North Carolina where they decided to raise a family. They live in Mills River with their wonderful son Blake.
Hobbies:
When not in the office, he enjoys running, cycling, fishing, wood working, and restoring old cars or lawn equipment.
